In the Beginning...

(Today's actual date is November 3, 2008. But for organizational purposes, I moved this post to the beginning of the blog so that Vaughan could understand how this blog came about.)

After the kids went to bed last night, I stayed up and was inspired to do something special for my children. I have decided to create a blog for each of my children to capture all of those precious moments that seem to slip away so very rapidly. I know of so many mothers who are so creative enough to design these intricate scrapbooks. But for me I can't seem to use that side of my brain well enough. I will lay out all of my scrapbook ensembles and draw a complete blank. I did however, create a calendar that marked each of their first mile stones from the time Allan and I found out that we were pregnant to the time they turned 1 year old. So with that said, I will be trying to back track and get some posts entered for each month of both Ava and Vaughan's life. I want each of them to be able to take a look at their life and how Mommy and Daddy have tried very hard to capture every moment of their existance.
